Friends

The average number of best friends an average American has is 3-4. I believe that to be true because that will result in your time and attention not being spread too thin. Once we were together, Pam shared that wonderful handful of friends with me.

When meeting Karen and Wally Owen’s, it was very obvious that both of them were Pam’s best friends. Their boys were also close friends with Brett and Greg. And Pam’s neighbors across the street, the Murphy’s were more than neighbors, they were family friends. I met her tennis friend Ardy and since then Ardy and her late husband, Willy were friends in our 25+ years wine club with couples that were my friends. We lived in Seattle for 5 years and two women, Bunny and Kayte became best friends to Pam. Another source of friends are with your own children and I saw the relationship Pam had with her own two sons, Brett and Greg and they are passing along to their adult sons a special quality handed down to them. I feel honored that during our 37 years together, we became and stayed best friends.

Below you will find some pictures of some very special friends in Pam’s life.
